Sales Representative

Summary: Siesta Brands sales representatives assist the Management team in the performance of his/her duties. Sales representatives always act as team player, are responsible for achieving sales goals, customer satisfaction, and profitability growth as well as understanding, practicing, and being a strong proponent of the Siesta Brands company and company culture. The Sales Associate is a retail professional role model in attitude and appearance, skilled in the art of communication and customer service.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to our diverse customers.
  • Recommend products based on customer needs and desires, answer questions regarding products.
  • Maintain a knowledge of products, sales, promotions, and store policies.
  • Prepare sales and installment contracts, arrange delivery and facilitate special requests/orders.
  • Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and credit/debit cards.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organized showroom floor.

Collections Representative

Siesta Brands is looking for a competent Collections Representative to contact clients and collect outstanding payments. A Collections Representative will strike a balance between maintaining trustful relationships, and ensuring timely payments. They should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness; excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently.

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
  •        Review expired accounts and communicate with customer to promote timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of past due activity.
  • Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
  • Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
  • Take actions to encourage timely debt payments
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Resolve billing and customer credit issues
  •     Complete understanding of Siesta Living/Siesta Sleep’s finance contracts.

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English and Spanish, via phone and in person.
  • Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g. skip tracing)
  • Comfortable working with targets
  • Patience and ability to manage stress
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Skilled in negotiation
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Valid Driver License preferred

 

Education and Experience Requirements:
